9/11 Review: Fraud or Incompetence?

Some will argue that the bad design, ludicrous theories, specious arguments, and obscuring of central issues by 9/11 Review are the result of incompetence rather than conscious intent to discredit key ideas and sabotage the 9/11 truth movement. This is similar to the idea that failure of the air defense network to protect New York City and the Pentagon on 9/11/01 was due to incompetence: improbable but not impossible.

Incompetence could explain things like bad organization, poor arguments, and unsupported conclusions. And the exclusion of quality sites might be explained by jealousy. However the strategic placement of discrediting ideas like Depleted Uranium fed fires at the Pentagon and the cylinder-equipped South Tower plane, and the many techniques used to bury and discredit the World Trade Center demolition, make the incompetence/jealousy theory highly dubious.

Determining the motives of whoever is behind 9/11 Review is beyond the scope of this critique. Regardless of the intent, the effect of 9/11 Review is the same: concealing and discrediting painstaking research on the 9/11/01 attack.
